Frequently Asked Questions

What prerequisites do I need?

Comfort with basic algebra and spreadsheets is enough for beginner courses. Intermediate and advanced courses may require familiarity with probability and Python or R; each catalog page lists specifics.

How do cohorts work?

Cohorts run on fixed schedules with weekly critiques and async discussions. You will submit decision memos and experiment plans and receive peer and instructor feedback.

Do you issue certificates?

Yes. Upon completion and passing the final assessment, you receive a verifiable certificate that summarizes competencies demonstrated.

Can my employer sponsor my learning?

We provide payment receipts and learning objectives you can share with your manager. Many learners use L&D budgets to enroll.

What is your refund policy?

For self-paced courses, you can request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 20% of the content. For cohorts and workshops, refunds are available up to 7 days before the start date.

Do you cover industry case studies?

Absolutely. We analyze anonymized case studies from consumer, B2B, and public-sector domains to highlight trade-offs and realistic constraints.

Is there instructor support?

Yes. Instructors host office hours, review assignments, and provide structured feedback on decision memos and experiment designs.

What tools will I use?

We focus on concepts first and use approachable tools: spreadsheets, notebooks, and simple visualization libraries. Code is shared when it clarifies a concept.

Do you promise business results?

No guarantees. We teach frameworks, methods, and practice. Your outcomes depend on your context and how you apply these skills ethically.
